Juan works in bold charcoal and ink, a look that photographs beautifully and reads from across a room. Group drawings are his specialty — four or five faces on one sheet, composed so nobody gets buried at the edge. Campus programmers in the GTA book him for orientation and frost weeks because he handles the crush of a 300-student line without losing the joke, and corporate hosts book him when they want the artwork to feel like fine art rather than a novelty.
